Problem: Orders from your e-commerce store sometimes contain items that are no longer in your Odoo inventory (removed products) or are one-off items (custom items). This can disrupt order import.
Solution: Our “Fallback Product” feature solves this! Designate a specific product from your inventory to temporarily replace missing or custom items during import. This keeps things running smoothly.
How to Set It Up:
Go to Sales Orders tab in your settings and find the “Fallback Product” field.
Select the product you want to use as a stand-in for missing or custom order items.
Choose a generic product (like “Miscellaneous Item”) as your fallback to avoid confusion in the order details.
