Our connector offers two ways to manage discounts that are already included in orders from your e-commerce store.
1. Discounts as separate order lines
This is the default method and ensures discounts are highly visible as separate line items within the Odoo order.
How it Works:
The connector uses a placeholder product you designate to represent discounts:
This maintains detailed records of the original e-commerce discounts.
How to set up
It should be active by default (Add Discounts as a Separate Order Lines checkbox). Just choose your placeholder product (Discount Product field).
2. Discounts Applied Directly to Products
This method avoids extra lines and can simplify the look of orders with many products.
How it Works:
Imported discounts are applied within the “Discount” field of each product line:
