I encountered the “Total amount in sales order from PrestaShop is not the same as calculated amount in Odoo” error. What should I do?

The error message is quite self-explanatory: it indicates errors caused by differences in total amounts between sales orders from PrestaShop and the calculated totals in Odoo. This typically occurs due to rounding issues.

Odoo and PrestaShop have different tax calculation methods. To import an order, you need to navigate to the menu e-Commerce Integrations →Integration → <your integration>. Then, go to the tab “Sales Orders“ and within the “Order Extras Management“ section, select products that will be used for order lines automatically added to sales orders in Odoo to reconcile this difference. This will ensure that the total amounts are similar between PrestaShop and Odoo.

After completing these steps, you can “Requeue” any failed import order jobs, and a Sales Order should be created in Odoo without any errors.
