VentorTech Ecosystem – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to VentorTech Ecosystem. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using our products or services via ecosystem.ventor.tech or the Odoo Apps Store, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Scope of Application
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases of VentorTech software products, subscriptions, and related services.
When purchasing via the Odoo Apps Store, Odoo’s own Odoo Apps Policy also apply and may override some terms, especially regarding refunds and version exchanges.
2. Platform Compatibility
- Our modules are compatible only with Odoo.sh and On-Premise Odoo installations.
- They cannot be installed on Odoo Online (SaaS) databases.
- It is your responsibility to verify your hosting type before purchase.
- If unsure, contact your Odoo Sales Representative or email us at support.ventor.tech.
3. Odoo Version Policy
- From Odoo 13.0 onward, each version of a third-party application is sold as a separate product. Purchasing for one version (e.g., 17.0) does not grant access to any other version.
- Before Odoo 13.0, a single purchase may cover earlier versions, but some versions might not be available.
- Always confirm you are purchasing the correct version for your database.
- We strongly recommend checking your Odoo version before purchase. Instructions are available here.
4. Subscriptions & Renewals
- Some products require an active subscription for ongoing use, updates, and/or cloud service access.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no partial refunds are issued.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
5.1 Purchases via Odoo Apps Store
- Refund claims must be submitted within two months of purchase.
- Refunds are processed according to Odoo’s official policy:
- The customer must request support from the module author via the “Ask author for support” link on their order page, confirmation email, or module page.
- The vendor has 15 days to fix the issue or reach an agreement.
- If no agreement is reached, either party may request Odoo’s intervention.
- A refund may be granted if:
- The module has a bug that is not fixed within the allotted time.
- The advertised feature set is incomplete.
- The module fails to install on the advertised version.
- The module violates Odoo’s Vendor Apps Guidelines.
- The license is incorrect.
- The purchase resulted from fraud or stolen credit card use.
- Refunds will not be granted if:
- The request is for a new feature not originally advertised.
- The bug was fixed during the claim process.
- The module works as described but does not meet the customer’s specific needs.
- The database is hosted on Odoo Online (SaaS).
- The wrong version of the application was purchased.
5.2 Purchases via ecosystem.ventor.tech
- Refund/exchange requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.
- We may approve a refund or exchange if:
- The module cannot be installed or used due to a proven defect that we cannot resolve in a reasonable timeframe.
- The wrong version was purchased and has not yet been downloaded, installed, or activated.
- Refunds will not be granted if:
- The product was downloaded or activated successfully.
- The issue is caused by incompatible third-party customizations or hosting.
- The module performs as described but does not match the buyer’s expectations due to insufficient pre-purchase research.
6. Support & Updates
- Purchases from ecosystem.ventor.tech include 1 year of updates and support, unless otherwise stated.
- Odoo Apps Store purchases include the support period specified on the module page (often 90 days).
- Support includes installation guidance, configuration help, and troubleshooting in a standard Odoo setup.
- Support does not include:
- Development of new features (available as paid customization).
- Fixes for problems caused by unrelated third-party modules or custom code.
7. Fair Use & Abuse Protection
We reserve the right to refuse refunds, support, or future sales if:
- There is evidence of license misuse or redistribution.
- Multiple refund requests are made after successful usage.
- The customer engages in abusive behavior towards our team.
8. Liability & Warranty
- All products are provided “as is” and tested on a standard Odoo environment.
- We are not responsible for issues caused by modifications, unsupported environments, or third-party interference.
- Liability is limited to the product’s purchase price.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be published on our store.
