Installation & Configuration Service Terms & Conditions

1. Service Overview

The Installation & Configuration Service covers professional setup of VentorTech products based on the Customer’s environment and described business flow.

The service must be purchased before any work begins.

The service includes:

  • Installation of the purchased product or module
  • Configuration of standard settings
  • Adjustment of configuration to match the described workflow
  • One (1) hour live training session after completion

An optional 20-minute introductory meeting may be arranged to collect access details and clarify requirements.

Configuration may be performed on a staging environment and then transferred to production if environments are identical.

2. Access Requirements

The Customer must provide all required access, including (if applicable):

  • Odoo.sh access and GitHub repository
  • On-premise server credentials
  • Access to e-commerce platforms
  • Access to QuickBooks Online accounts

If direct access cannot be provided:

  • VentorTech will provide configuration guidance instead
  • The live training session may be used for joint configuration

3. Delivery Timeline & Acceptance

  • Configuration is typically completed within 14 business days, unless otherwise agreed.
  • After completion, the Customer has 14 business days to review the setup.
  • If no feedback is provided within this period, the configuration is considered accepted automatically.

After acceptance, the service is deemed completed.

4. Support After Configuration

  • After acceptance, further assistance is provided under standard product support terms.
  • The configuration service does not extend or replace product support periods.

5. Compatibility & Updates

  • Configuration is performed for the Customer’s current Odoo version and environment.
  • Reconfiguration caused by upgrades or environment changes is treated as a new paid task.
  • Migration to newer Odoo versions is not included.

6. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Work starts only after payment confirmation.
  • Payments are non-refundable once implementation has started.

7. Communication

  • All communication must take place via the VentorTech Support Portal or official email threads.
  • Online meetings may be arranged within the support ticket.
  • Direct communication outside official channels is not permitted.

8. Important Notes & Product-Specific Limitations

8.1 No Custom Development Included

This service does not include:

  • Development of new features
  • Changes to existing functionality
  • Code modifications
  • Third-party module changes
8.2 Third-Party Plugins & Modules

Issues caused by third-party platforms or plugins are not covered. Guidance may be provided when possible.

8.3 E-commerce Connector Configuration
  • Applies to one shop only
  • PrestaShop multistore: up to two stores per environment
  • Does not include catalog cleanup or SKU creation
8.4 Direct Print PRO

Configuration is limited to Odoo-side setup only. Hardware or OS-level troubleshooting is excluded.

8.5 ZPL Label Designer

Does not include label design creation. Design services require separate agreement.

8.6 QuickBooks Online Connector

Account mapping and accounting tasks are excluded and must be handled by the Customer’s accountant.
