Our Odoo PrestaShop connector is designed to support a wide range of PrestaShop versions – from older legacy releases to the most recent major updates.
Supported Versions
We officially support all PrestaShop versions from 1.6.x up to 9.x.

Even though PrestaShop 9 is relatively new, we already have customers successfully using our connector with it.
How We Ensure Compatibility
To maintain high compatibility and stability, we regularly test our connector against three different versions of PrestaShop. We maintain dedicated test servers for:
PrestaShop 1.7.x
PrestaShop 8.x
PrestaShop 9.x
This approach allows us to proactively detect and fix compatibility issues across different environments and configurations.
Known Limitations with PrestaShop 1.6
While PrestaShop 1.6 is supported, please note the following limitations:
Certain API routes are missing in PrestaShop 1.6 – for example:
employees
messages
As a result, some features of our connector may not be available when connected to PS 1.6. These features will not cause errors; they are simply skipped gracefully.
In addition, PrestaShop 1.6 has several core bugs that may affect connector behavior. These are platform-related and outside of our control, but we’ve documented workarounds here: Is your PrestaShop connector compatible with PrestaShop 1.6?
Important Note
PrestaShop is updated frequently, and many stores run custom builds or different patch levels of the same major version (e.g. different revisions of PS 8.x). Because of this:
We can’t guarantee 100% compatibility with every PrestaShop installation.
Some versions may include bugs or regressions that affect API communication or module behavior.
We strongly recommend using the latest stable revision of your current PrestaShop version (e.g. the latest patch of PS 8.x). This ensures:
Better performance
Fewer platform bugs
Maximum compatibility with our connector and other modules
