We know our partners often recommend our products to their customers because of the great quality and support we offer. We don’t make a ton of different products, but the ones we do make are top-notch and always getting better (we release updates every 1-2 months).

This page is all about how you, as an Odoo partner, can work with us to give your customers the best experience.

Option 1: Your customers buy directly

This is a good option if you’re new to our products and want to test them out.

How it works:

  1. You send your customer a link to our store (VentorTech Ecosystem).
  2. They buy the product themselves.
  3. They get automatic updates and access to different Odoo versions (in case of migration to newer Odoo versions).
  4. You get a 20% commission on every Ecosystem subscription payment they make (starting from €200 to avoid small payments).

Please note: commissions are paid only for Ecosystem subscription payments and do not apply to one-time purchases.

Option 2: Unlimited Use for Partners

This option is ideal if you frequently use our products for multiple customers—it’s simple, cost-effective, and scalable.

How It Works:

  • Cost-Effective Access:
    Pay a single yearly fee and enjoy unlimited access to our modules for as many customers as you need.

  • Seamless Updates & Integration:
    After subscribing, provide us with your repository, and we’ll push automatic updates for the latest Odoo version (18.0). Need updates for Odoo 16.0? We can accommodate that upon request. (Note: Updates are delivered exclusively to your repository—you handle deployment to your customers.)

  • Dedicated Support:
    Benefit from priority support by simply mentioning your unlimited partner subscription when you reach out. Since the subscription is linked to you, you are the single point of contact for all customer inquiries, ensuring streamlined and effective communication.

  • Comprehensive Training & Onboarding:
    Your subscription includes a training session to assist with the initial configuration and answer any questions (commonly during the first product installation / configuration). We require one designated support contact from your team to ensure that this person is well-equipped to handle common issues, preventing repetitive inquiries.

Option 3: The Old Way (Odoo App Store)

Your customers can still buy directly from the Odoo App Store. However, this isn’t the best choice because:

  • It’s more expensive in the long run.
  • Updates aren’t automatic.
  • You don’t get a commission.
  • Support is limited to 90 days after purchase.

Support & Maintenance

Both Options 1 and 2 include:

  • Automatic updates sent directly to your customers.
  • Priority support if anything goes wrong.
  • Support is available via our portal or email (support@ventor.tech): 

Installation & Configuration

We want to ensure your customers have the best experience with our products. That’s why we offer expert installation and configuration services to take the technical burden off your shoulders. For a fixed fee per product and client, our experienced team will handle:

  • Installing the module on your customer’s Odoo instance
  • Configuring the module to meet their specific needs
  • Providing guidance and training to ensure a smooth transition

This service saves you valuable time and ensures a successful implementation for your clients.
