In VentorTech Direct Print Pro, usage is based on the number of print requests (“prints”) sent to the print server.
What Is a Print?
A print is a single print request processed by the printing service.
Each request is counted the same, regardless of:
Number of pages
Document size
Number of records included
How Printing Is Counted in Odoo
Printing in Odoo can be triggered in different ways:
Manually (e.g. clicking a print button)
Automatically (e.g. via automation scenarios or action buttons)
In all cases, print counting depends only on how many print jobs are sent to the print server.
Examples
Single document printing
✔ counted as 1 printBulk printing from list view
Odoo may merge multiple records into one PDF
✔ counted as 1 printAutomatic printing with multiple copies
If copies are sent within a single print job
✔ counted as 1 print
How to Choose a Plan
Plans are based on the expected number of print requests per billing period (monthly or yearly).
When choosing a plan, estimate:
How often printing is triggered
How many print jobs are generated (not pages)
You can change your plan at any time if your usage changes.

Note:
If your usage exceeds the plan limit, additional prints are charged according to the pricing.
Tip:

How to Verify Print Counting
If your use case is specific and you want to confirm how prints are counted, you can test it on a demo server.
You can:
Reproduce your scenario
Trigger printing
Check how many print requests are counted
The module includes a print counter:
Available via the print icon in Odoo
Also available in your account:

Note: The counter may update with a delay of 5–10 minutes.
You can also manually refresh it by running the Direct Print Limits Status Updater scheduled action in Odoo (available in debug mode).
