In recent versions of VentorTech Direct Print, you may notice an exclamation mark badge displayed on the Direct Print printer icon in the Odoo dashboard.
This notification is related to the optional review campaign and does not indicate any problem with printing or module configuration.
If your printing works correctly, the notification can be safely ignored or disabled.
How to Disable the Notification
The notification can be disabled in the Direct Print settings.
To do this:
Enable Developer Mode (Debug Mode) in Odoo
Open Direct Print → Settings
Enable the “Disable Advertising” checkbox
Save the settings
After that, the notification badge (exclamation mark) will disappear from the Direct Print icon.
