How to Configure Printing in Odoo PoS (Point of Sale)

The Odoo Point of Sale (PoS) module is widely used for retail and in-store operations, where printing receipts and invoices is an essential part of the workflow.

Since PoS works differently from standard Odoo modules and uses a separate interface, printing requires a dedicated integration and configuration approach.

Direct Print Plugin for PoS

To support printing in PoS, we provide a dedicated Direct Print plugin for Point of Sale.

This plugin allows you to:

  • Configure and automate printing in PoS workflows

  • Assign printers for receipts and invoices

  • Integrate with hardware such as cash drawers and scales

The PoS plugin is included with Direct Print Pro at no additional cost, but it can also be purchased separately.

If you purchased Direct Print Pro, the PoS plugin is available:

  • On Odoo Apps (using the same account used for the purchase)

  • On the VentorTech portal

If you do not see access, you can contact us and we will grant it.

Requirements
